I am a Scottish artist based in Aberdeenshire, with strong links to the Outer Hebrides, and graduated from Gray’s School of Art in 2006. Although life and work has taken me away from painting over the years, I’ve recently returned to explore my art again.

I’m heavily inspired by the plants, patterns and colours of the coastal landscape, especially around the Outer Hebrides, Skye and North East Scotland. I have been experimenting in different techniques, but usually paint in mixed media (mainly oil, acrylic, salt and ink) with a semi-abstract style intended to capture the ephemeral quality of nature.
